Two song EP from one of Italy's brightest new talents.

The Good: 14 minutes of intricate and interesting post-rock.

The Bad: Whilst I consider the growls on their debut to be somewhat unnecessary, they still remained tolerable. However the pseudo-metal vocals found on this 2011 EP sound totally out of place and actively detract from my overall enjoyment of the release. Thankfully these sections are kept to a minimum, but at the same time this sporadic nature makes them feel even more frustratingly pointless. It's a shame really because its hard to just sit back and appreciate the music when you're constantly wondering if and when they'll start singing again. The second track in particular lulls you into a false sense of security for a whole six minutes before Lost Prophets make their cameo appearance.

The Verdict: Instrumentally on a par with its predecessor but the irksome singing lets it down.
