5 stars Sonic perfection...

The second album in the Kohntarkosz trilogy.

The Good: There are very few bands that are able to return to the studio after twenty years and recapture the essence of their classic era. There are even fewer who go on to produce their best work to date yet Magma somehow manage to pull this off with what is simply one of the greatest albums ever recorded! Whereas some of their older material had me absolutely captivated for half of it and looking at my watch for the rest, these three pieces are just flawless from start to finish. Despite being a member of one of the more obscure genres known to man, K.A is also strangely accessible and I was able to successfully introduce a friend to zeuhl through this album, and he rarely ventures from his safe haven of hard rock and country. I could bang on all day about how mind blowingly amazing K.A is, but rather than wasting your time reading about it you should get out and actually listen to it!

The Bad: Like asking Edwin Starr, what is war good for?

The Verdict: If this isn't your cup of tea then your tongue is probably dead.
