5 stars OK... I really don't get it! This is the finest studio effort in the Hawkwind canon ... it blends everything together nicely; all the hawkwind elements in the right proportions.....

Nik's sax/flute eerie vox.

Simon House's Violin and keys, especially mellotron

Brock's guitar riffs

the lemmy and simon King rhythm section....

this lineup never recorded together again (sadly)

Indeed the 1st half (of the LP) is sublime perfection of the space rock genre. my only complain is the inclusion of lemmy's solo number in the middle of the 2nd half - the album would have been better served by the inclusion of " It's So Easy" instead (which IS on the CD remaster) Despite this I gave it 5 stars .....

this really is one of my all time faves ..... and let me say, I'm no blinkered Hawkwind fanatic ... I Know how BAD most of their output is!

Finally, how is it so many of you prefer Warriors at the edge of time with it's awful production and childish sound effects???? PLEASE ... listen t othe 2 albums back to back .....and think again..
