3 stars It has taken me a long time to really get into a band like this.

Their music is dense and a bit one dimension Krautrock with a lot of weird German humour included too. Which Hinten, this album, has a lot of. A song like Bo Diddley, dedicated to a highly influential US guitarist from the 1950s who sadly passed away three years ago, is pretty weird with spoken words and Bo Diddley like guitars (does he play on it ? It sounds like him !) on the top of some odd time signatures. There are three other songs like this one too on this album. It feels like Guru Guru is experimenting a lot here and is trying to find something. That something may be themselves or an own identity. This is the second album from this band so experiementations seems like a natural progression at this stage.

The music is very good throughout. It is an acquired taste though and not the type of music I liked when starting to listen to this album. But it grows on the listener. Yeah, I think this is a very good album now and it is recommended. I have got a fistful of Guru Guru albums after listening to this album and that says a lot. I may end up becoming a fan after all.
