4 stars FACE THE MUSIC from 1975, is one of the last really prog-like albums put out by The Electric Light Orchestra. Too bad, because it is a very good release and maybe my favorite ELO album along with ELO II and ELDORADO. I would reccomend it to anyone trying to check out what this band and Jeff Lynne were all about. Poppy, yea. Dated? Sometimes, yes. But still really fine music that works to listen to if you need a break from the more serious classic acts like Gentle Giant, Yes, and Traffic. So go check this out. Even with a few hit single like "Evil WOman" and "Strange Magic" is is still a fine work.
