2112: OVERTURE/THE TEMPLES OF SYRINX

Rush is not and have never been a single band so this release is taken with a grain of salt. Contained is the Overture from 2112 and The Temple of Syrinx. Totaling about 6:46 minutes, this was released in 1976. Got this used and have since passed it on to a true Rush maven to add to his collection. 2112 is one of the masterpieces of Rush and Hard Progressive music but ripping out these 2 songs from that album just doesn't work. 2112 is an ALBUM! This is good stuff but not needed if you have the album, which I'll bet you do! 2 stars only
