4 stars This album along with octopus are my GG favorites... This album has always been very good to me because it caught me right from the beginning... It has all I look for in album... Great Lyrics, Mind blowing music and a good concept. I think I liked this album from the beginning because I heard it while I was reading along the lyrics.. I think they are very accurate with the social criticism... (listen to proclamation... the opening track)..

Another thing I appreciate very much because its hard to find is the virtuosity of this musicians with a wide variety of instruments... they are an orchestra themselves! My favorte tracks on this album are PROCLAMATION, PLAYING THE GAME, and COGS IN COGS... this is an excellent album, go get it and you'll see... specially if you're into "tricky" addictive riffs, complex vocal arrangements and like to hear "full" music, with no empty spaces to be filled out... great band, great album... not their best work, but 4 stars
