2 stars Not really good, but some moments that are worth spending some time listening to.

Krautrock: The song starts pretty nice, and rather appealing, but after 4 minutes of distorted electronic sounds it starts getting a little boring, luckily after 7 minutes it starts picking up some beat and tempo, but those 3 minutes in between defines this song and album to me, basically incomplete, and ill-construed, with some more variety in sounds it could have been better for afterwards your left without any notion of what you've just witnessed.

The songs after that have some more variation, but that doesn't make it really very good, the slightly amusing, but humorless ska-song that follows, manages to overstay it's welcome with 1 minute. Jenifer has a sad feel to it, quite enjoyable actually, mainly because of the underlying electronic keyboards, and the more happy feeling tune that ends this song after a slightly distorted middle section but again there is the feeling of incompleteness in the melodie.

Just a second has again that distorted electronic sounds, with some nice moments encapsulated within, but not really good. Picnic on a Frozen river is my favourite song from this album, some what reminds me of Frank Zappa style, short fast melodies over a slow fusion backtrack, some great fun, and one of the reasons this album can't be discarded all too easily.

Giggi smile is a forgetable tune, wih maybe one or two slightly good pieces of aprox three seconds. the next tune sounds like the intro to Misplaced Childhood from Marillion, just without melodie or lyrics, or something that sounds nice really. The final track is reasonable good, and ends with some memorable piano with distorted noises acompagnying it and slow sung lyrics, a good song to end this album.

Overall I have to rate it with 2 stars, with only a recomendation to Picnic on a frozen river, the intro of Krautrock and the final song. But to much of nothing really. Try it if you want it, Picnic will make you smile, the rest is up to your taste.

Peace Out
