3 stars reasonable album, but since this is a progressive site a warning for all, this is hardly progressive in any way, and it sees Uriah Heep alternating between classic rock and NWOBHM, the new vocalist is pretty decent, but since the entire band is practical new (Only Mick Box remained to ensure the Uriah Heep name is not entirely unjustified) I think they could have changed the name.

A very enjoyable album if you judge it purely on the music, had the band used another name instead of Uriah heep, i would probable praise it for being a very good debut album, but compared to other Heep productions, it's not that good. compared to other bands however, it's pretty good actually.

Enjoyable album, but only for classic rock lovers, and fans of Heep should try this for sure.
