VOTOMS
2 stars It's not HORRIBLE, but this is generally bad. That's the problem into modern death metal and grindore bands: Too much skill. Sometimes they are brutal ENOUGH, and the crowd can't headbang into the rhytm. And this is the kind of album that after the end, I remember nothing about the tracks. Lack of soul, lack of memorable riffs. Technical+Brutal is actually getting boring and boring. The bands have nothing to show, only the same ultra blast beating drums and random fast riffage. But OK, if you are into this kind of bands, take a look at Aeon of Horus. My rate for this is 2/5 stars. They are not so bad like other bands of this sub-genre. And the track n.8 ("Heru-Ra-Ha") is fun in my opinion.
