4 stars People awfully uses the word "Industrial" to describe bands like Rammstein and Marylin Manson. And most of them did not know about Einsturzende Neubauten and stuff. Bringing the Industrial tag back to life with noisy samples and a dissonant extreme grindcore / death metal mix, Flourishing has found their own way. And goddamn, they are only three guys. It reminds me of Napalm Death experimental era mixed with Gorguts. The abstract lyrics read like prose, and the sickening vortex vocals are brilliant. The songs are addictive. This EP was released one year before their awesome full lenght "The Sum of All Fossils". And it worths the same as the album. Hope you enjoy.
