5 stars I can't comment on pre-Signify era PT because I haven't gotten any of those yet, but of their 'song-oriented' era, I find this to be far and away the best. In fact, I find this particular record to be the most consistent, best-written rock album that I have ever heard. This album is extremely personal to me; it's a soundtrack to my life...there are truly some beautiful moments on this album that will just bring you down and make you weep....there are FEW albums that I feel that are 'personal', and this is at the very top of them. Music does not get any better than this. If you are a fan of this record, and relate to it like I do, check out Devin Townsend's "Terria" release. It's a completely different beast, but it's a very personal disc as well. Literally wherever I am, I will always have this CD with me, be it in my car or stereo or whatever. It's one of those classics that only gets better.
