2 stars Kindly lent to me by a friend whose this EP was his first ever The Beatles record. They had just played Glasgow and he thought they were good. They could go far........

Well, some decades later, this music seems both pretty current and outdated. Current because this is the type of music you get on the radio these days. The name of the bands may be whatever, but this kind of naive pop is the same. There is not a hint of prog rock or any clever musicianship on this EP at all. This is just pure pop music, based on the crooners who ran the youth world before The Beatles arrived. Thankfully, The Beatles moved on to a lot more interesting music.

P.S. I Love You and All My Loving is two good songs. The two other songs is pretty dire. Don't waste your money on this EP. Buy a cruise liner instead.
