MAMMA MIA!Oh,yes!Tis album is that kind of musical jewel for which,after a first audition you have this kind of reaction!And,definitelly LUMINA PROJECT is a marvelous musical discovery for the most pretentious jazz rock fusion lover!The beautiful production of the album puts in evidence the masterful musical skills of some amazingly talented musicians,really top class!I don't know many things about the musicians involved,but it seems that they are old sharks and deserve all our respect for the fruit of their colaboration,this sensational album!Musically speaking,this album is in the vein of ALLAN HOILDSWORTH music,and Johnny Murata is an incredible versatile guitar player!The rhythm section-drums plus bass -is outer space ,is stunning and the cohesion between all the musicians in outstanding!Great diversity in compositions and plenty of magical demonstrative moments,sometimes really breathtaking! Impossible to choose a particular song to be put in evidence,because all have a very high standard,all are so well composed and structured!There are very rhytmic compositions ,in balance with other in a more calm register ,overall a great ability and versality to compose good and very well builded songs-all in the high fusion ,modern fusion style!!Guitar synth sometimes or a sound really close to the famous synthaxe of Mr fusion himself-maestro ALLAN HOLDSWORTH,but Murata has numerous personal wizzardries in his pocket too! Fabio Fernandez.the drumer is impressive too,he has some killer interventions and really pushes his technical limits very high!A very pleasant album,perfectly listeneble with the same curiosity and passion from the first accords to the last note!WONDERFUL!4,5 STARS to something impressive!
