2 stars Quality control alert!!

A budget label collection, which if it's not yet been deleted, should cost you next to nothing. The track selection is good, but the title is somewhat misleading. Many of the tracks are poor quality live versions, while others appear to be demos. Among the live versions are "Angels of death", "Born to go", and a somewhat shortened "Masters of the universe". The excellent "Hurry on sundown" is a shadow of the track which opens the "Hawkwind" album, and "Quark strangeness and charm" also sounds nothing like the track on the album of that name.

Good value certainly, but just one of the many repackagings of the band's work available, and woefully lacking in the quality control department.
