3 stars This french post-rock band has some very interesting elements perhaps not enough surprises into the 8 tracks which give form to this album even when it's a solid and very enjoyable piece.

Based on structured mixture of syncopated rhythms and complex guitar scales, the album starts with "Home Alone" and "Chevalier Bulltoe", two songs which shows the strong musical bases on which the rest of the album is constructed perhaps most of the time is redundant in inffluences of seminal post rock bands such as Tortoise and Bark Psychosis even when in songs such as "Tonton Alain Michel" we find some brilliant epic moments leaded by strong guitar sections.

If I got to pick some other great tunes here I go with the soaring and almost delicated "Motte-Rock" and "Eric Colson" which sounds really great because starts with a floating guitar melody and derivates into a sum of almost proggy textures which build an epic grand finale.

No surprises here but definetively a good album. Maybe just for post rock compromised fans but I give "Home Alone" 3* because I can feel in every song a strong and sincere effort that points to make a superb album and in some minutes, these guys achieve that goal... Anyway, if you want to listen the complete album is very easy to find on bandcamp... Enjoy!!!
