3 stars This is no fairytale ...

It's really hard to categorize the music of these swedish knights - the same with many other groups. But there must be a decision and I think the Psychedelic/Space Rock genre is the best definition.

The years from 1998 on they made four Promo-EPs which are containing very interesting songs and demonstrate their musical talent. So everybody has to wonder why it took so long until they produced their first full studio album in 2005.

'Beyond The Fairytale' has 4 tracks which are not very long. 'All be the same' has a very positive and happy flavour - Magnus Nilsson and his flute are in best form. 'Ageless' is dominated by a hard rock riff, in the middle section it has very nice psychedelic moments. 'Soulswitch' is the long track of this production and a space rocker - a small jam which grows with every minute. The slowtempo title song is also good but unfortunately too short - the first time I was very sad when it faded out after 3 minutes.

I recommend to download this tracks from their website. You'll not be disappointed. 3.5 stars ...
