5 stars US artist Jeremy Morris are one of the more prolific artists active in the rock scene today. With more than 30 releases in a career that started in the mid-eighties, you'd might suspect he would have run out of ideas by now though.

But judging from this release, the creative source Jeremy seeks out still provides him with creativity and inspiration allowing him to produce strong material. On this release, he explores the acoustic guitar, in 10 self-composed and 2 tunes written by other artists he shows his skill as a guitarist to some degree, but first and foremost he conveys moods and atmospheres with a high level of skill and care. Deceptively melodic tunes, that on closer listening turns out to be rather complex compositions, but where the strong moods conveyed and melodies explored dominate the tunes much more than the technical aspect.

Fans of instrumental acoustic guitar, as well as fans of Jeremy's sources of inspiration - Steve Hackett and Anthony Phillips among them - should check out this release.
