3 stars Orphan Project has no shortage of high quality art-rock material of their own to perform. Even so, one highlight of their shows has historically been their sizzling cover of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in The Wall pt. 2". Their take on the song is crisp, energetic and enthusiastic, very much worth checking out (if you liked the original of course).

The remaining three tracks are included on Orphan Project's 2009 album "Spooning out the Sea". My advice is to skip this EP and simply search online to find a download of the single Floyd song for 99 cents.

As an EP to "tide over" Orphan Project fans in 2008, this was very good. Like an appetizer or a salty snack, it left me unsatisfied, wanting more (much more)! This is not an entirely bad thing, however, considering the alternative. At least I wasn't wondering when it would ever end, wanting less (much less)!

3 stars After a silence of almost 4 years Orphan Project comes with a short EP selftitled II from 2008. Well nothing really very much to say about it, the mood and atmosphere is like on their debute on 3 pieces, because the forth is a Pink Floyd cover - Another brick in the wall pt 2. That 3 pieces Angel desire, My goodness and Empty me will appear a year later on their second album named Spooning the sea. The cover version is well puted here in context has a more rockier and energic feel then the original, sounds pretty good. So, a good EP , nothing special but musicaly ok. 3 stars.
