RasaSound biography
RASASOUND was founded in March 2010 by Balázs Szende (drums), who is also known as the drummer for the band Ozric Tentacles. The goal was to create a unique, 'outside the box' musical world, free from genres and categories although loosely based on psychedelic and electronic music played with live instruments. After the initial recruitment of members the band started working on new material, utilizing a composing style based on collective improvisation.

The first result of this process was an EP called 'Synthetic Nature', available since March 2011. The full-fledged album 'Beginnings' followed in 2016, produced in collaboration with Levente Barta (percussion), Oliver Mayne (synth), Roland Pokornyik (bass) and Viktor Horváth (guitar). Stylistically their music is equipped with some leanings to the likes of Ozric Tentacles and Quantum Fantay, though definitely showing them on a quite unique course.
