The Spur picture
The Spur biography
The band delivers some melodic Progressive Metal with complex instrumental sections. The band was founded by Stephan SCHROTH (drums) who brought neatly arranged song material and teamed up with Stefan HUTH (touch guitar) in 2012. The band are now a quintet for the release of their debut album "Rebirth" who is a concept album about the story of the world in 2040. Some orchestral arrangements and multi-layered instrumental highlights keep alternating, with Volker PRAB's Gabrielesque voice riding the musical crest. Both traditional metal riffs and virtuosic soloing blend in with catchy hooks and choruses.
