Higher Circles biography
US outfit HIGHER CIRCLES was founded back in 1983 by Ken Geer (drums), Steve Moore (guitar/keyboards) and Norman Windrose (guitars, vocals).

After some time they started playing gigs, performing covers of acts like Pink Floyd and Rush as well as some of their own creations, but found the concert setting unsatisfying and soon stopped that, sticking to writimg their own material instead. And in 1990 they hit the recording studio, with an EP named The Payment as a result.

The next decade saw the band continuing in pretty much the same manner, but it took them 11 years to find their way into a recording studio again, resulting in their debut full length album Ritual One - issued in 2002.

They announced the addition of one Pete Yarbrough to their line-up in 2003, also mentioning being active as a live unit again at that point in time, but after this it no news has been forthcoming about this talented outfit.
