Virvel biography
VIRVEL is a band from Belgrade, Serbia. They were formed in 2000, with Tijana Drobac on bass and vocals, Dejan Drobac and Zoran Stojicic on guitars. Zeljko joined shortly after, later being replaced with Vlada Ocokoljic on percussion.

The members came from various renowned bands present on Belgrade indie-scene, such are Splins, Irfan Muertes and BoriseDečkoBorise (varying from punk to post-rock).

This busy band was performing various gigs at home and abroad, and they had released two albums so far, both for the label they had founded, Rapanelli Records. The albums are 'Sa dna' and 'Sibir', released in May 2006 and May 2010 respectively.

VIRVEL's music is a blend of post-rock approach with indie rock characteristics, often incorporating sublime textures, crafted with conventional rock tools to emphasize the atmospheres.
