Jordan K. Rush biography
Jordan K. RUSH is the solo project of the guitarist of the same name. RUSH began as a drummer around age 10, with a taste in music such as METALLICA, GODSMACK, and the like. He was eventually introduced to DREAM THEATER, which introduced him to the progressive aspects of music and he changed his view on playing. When he was 18, he began playing guitar. His friend Alex WHEELER introduced him to metalcore, which he played for quite some time. In about a year, however, he wanted something more from his music and returned to Progressive Metal. When he was introduced to PROTEST THE HERO, his view on music was again transformed, and he developed his current style of heavy, djent inspired riffing as well as technical licking that bounces in and out of odd time signatures and keys. Jordan K. RUSH is comprised of guitarist, bassist, and programmer Jordan RUSH and guitarist Alex WHELLER. RUSH released one studio album, "The Three Reigns" in 2009. Currently RUSH and WHEELER have formed the band ABOLISH THE ECHELON and are in the process of writing and finding a full band.
