Lovely Little Girls biography
A Chicago-based grotesque masquerade rock project LOVELY LITTLE GIRLS were founded in August 2001 firstly as a one-off performance piece by a vocalist / painter Gregory JACOBSON. A bassist Alex PERKOLUP inflated Gregory's weirdness, whilst they, strongly influenced by Fred Frith, Magma, The Residents, Captain Beefheart, started writing "theatrical suites that morph from off-kilter dance anthems to punishing and ridiculous progressive rock with essence of odd harmonies or tangled polyrhythms amongst New Wave, RIO, metal or free jazz". They've released two EPs and a full-length album so far - "Glamorous Piles & Puffy Saddlebags" (2006), "Dilapidated Head & Torso Aggregations" (2008), and "Cleaning the Filth from a Delicate Frame" (2012), with bloodcurdling sleeve pics.
