MY DAD VS YOURS

My Dad vs Yours biography
Canadian band MY DAD VS YOURS was formed in 2000 by Jose Palacios (guitars), Arturo Brisindi (moog, drums) and Phil Springall (bass). When Tom Herbert (guitars) and Pauline Bejjani (keyboards, xylophone) joined a tad later this first stable line-up recorded and released an initial EP called "Winning Hearts and Minds". Line-up alterations were in store for this fledgling band after this however, and by the time My Dad Vs Yours released their full length debut album "After Winter Must Come Spring" in 2006, Springall and Bejjani had left the band, replaced by Ben Stanford (bass) and Kelsey McNulty (keyboards, xylophone, saw). A further five years would pass before the band was ready with their sophomore creation "Little Symphonies", now with Jason Redmond on bass instead of Ben Stanford. Since then McNulty has officially left, and as of 2013 My Dad vs Yours is a quartet.

My Dad Vs Yours brand of post rock have been described as an uplifting, positive and instrumental version of Sigur Ros with somewhat more of a mainstream oriented approach.
