Salvatore biography
SALVATORE were an instrumental group formed in Oslo, Norway in 1998. They formed after listening to Krautrock legends NEU! Their sound is influenced by both Krautrock and electronica. The band won the Norwegian music contest Zoom in 1998. The debut album 'Clingfilm' was released in October 2000. 'Tempo' (2002) was recorded in Chicago with John McEntire (TORTOISE). In 2004 the band supported TORTOISE on a European tour. They disbanded in 2008. The band had a few line-up changes but the permanent members were: Bjarne Larsen (guitar, bass); John Birger Wormdahl (keyboards, guitar, sampling); and Kjell-Olav Jørgensen (drums).
