Ancients biography
ANCIENTS is a heavy atmospheric post rock formed by post rock musicians from around the world. Members Matthew HOLDEN, Daniel HOANG, David GUMBLETON, and Mehdi SAFAFROM from *SHELS, MAHUMODO, and CRYDEBRIS formed the band in 2010 and were signed to *SHELS' record label, shelsmusic. The band then went on to release their debut full-length, "Star Showers on the Euphrates", on July 16, 2012 to great critical acclaim.

The band's powerful mixture of *SHELS' post metal aspects and MAHUMODO's heavy atmospheres create for a sublime post rock experience.
