I loke the Cinema Show solo the best, but for just anything he played, i like the piano in the beginning of Dancing with the Moonlit Knight, it's just kind of outlining the vocals but it adds so much. I voted for "the mellotron choir at the end of Entangled", because it's one of the most emotional keyboard pieces ever!

     I find his best keyboard work, and especially the solo parts, on The Lamb. "In the Cage" is a great one, but the one over 9/8 in "Riding the Skree" is absolutely brilliant, compositionally and technically. He never hit that peak again, and much of his later keyboard work is downright embarassing.
 
     By the way, I don't know if "solos" is the right word here, because that usually implies improvisation, and he invariably played them the same, as every bootleg will attest. "Solo parts" or sections is probably more accurate.

1. From The Undertow (A Curious Feeling). So intense, so melancholic... I love the chords, the synth sounds... the opening chord is just amazing!
2. The opening solo on Duchess (Duke studio album). Not flashy at all, a bit minimal, but very beautiful and emotional!

 The Mellotron/organ intro to Watcher Of The Skies is one of my favorites. Unlike anything else. Powerful, ominous, and dramatic.
 
The whole Lamb Lies Down On Broadway is pretty much a collection of Banks' riffs & solos that carries the whole album through. I especially like the mellotron mixed chorus in Silent Sorrow In Empty Boats.
 
Overall, my favorite Banks solo is The Cinema Show solo. (Studio version) It transports you to lush sonic landscapes. A climatic theme & variations of the whole album.

Cinema Show is a great one missing from the list, as is the solo in 'The Raven' section of The Colony of Slippermen. Riding the Scree is a great keyboardy, solo-esque song too...

I got it as 9/8 in the midi. I even counted the beats of the guitar and were 9 per bar. The solo itself flows but when I listen to the guitar part alone it has the odd cut somewhere along the bar. Banks was always more of 'Chords' player, creating a fantastic and unique feel, but there certainly are some wonderful solo moments. Tony Banks is for me more of an arranger, a conductorand creator of atmosphere with his keyboards than a soloist...but I go for his work on "Ripples".

I voted robbery. The solo is very trippy and the time signature is very odd yet palatable. Supper's Ready should have been on Genesis Live .. Cry .. but fortunately Genesis Archive 1 delivers this unsurpassed epic track featuring my favorite Tony Banks solo, mainly because the psychedelic inspired organ solo is so compelling and matches perfectly with the ominous atmosphere Clap , every time GOOSE BUMPS!!!!!
 
Second is the choir-Mellotron in Afterglow on Seconds Out and third the spectacular, fat sounding ARP Pro Solist flights in The Colony Of Slippermen.
