No way. Jazz-Rock more likely for I've seen him perform tributes dedicated to Hendrix for up to 60 minutes at a time, playing solo, whilst the rest of Weather Report remained somewhat redundant... - and rightly so. They were tired and bored, unlike Jaco who was having great pleasure.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>"Live in NY, volumes I-IV represent a middle ground of his approach in general whilst his contribution to WR that greatly assisted the band's image is perhaps less important, but earned him a living.&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>His inclusion in the Archives is only a few years overdue....</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>]]>
