I have two albums- 'Sextant' and 'Headhunters'. Sextant and Crossings are two of my favorite albums. I've never heard a complete album from him (yeah, I know I should), but, hell, Cantalupe Island is one of the best jamming songs that I've heard!! Head Hunters is one of my favourite non-experimental jazz albums of all time.

Herbie is awesome. I knew someone who was accepted to the Monk Institute and got to play with Herbie. He said that their "Improv. and theory class" was a private gig with Herbie! thats sick. I personally liked him best on Maiden Voyage, Head Hunters, V.S.O.P (probably one of my most favorite album collabs.) Perfect Machine, Mr. Hands, and 1+1 which had WAYNE SHORTER on it. Great Music.
