    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.progarchives.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=2504" rel="nofollow">Prog_Traveller</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 63340<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> August 30 2012 at 12:02<br /><br />I'm a total fanboy of Rush and Yes but also greatly enjoy King Crimson, Genesis, VDGG(I hope everyone on here knows what that stands for ;)), ELP, Pink Floyd, Camel, The Flower Kings and Porcupine Tree. <br><br><br>So with the exception of maybe ELP who I think were great in their early days but kind of dropped the ball at some point and never really recovered(same thing with GG but at least ELP reformed), I would say I'm a fanboy of those bands I just mentioned.<br><br><br>As far as do no wrong goes for me it would be in this order:<br><br>Yes<br>Rush<br>Genesis<br>Pink Floyd<br>Camel<br>Flower Kings<br>King Crimson<br><br>or something like that. ;)<br><br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Prog_Traveller - August 30 2012 at 12:05</span>]]>

Revolver, Sgt. Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour all had Prog moments before Prog even existed. One could even argue that Prog started with Revolver or Pepper.<br>]]>

No disappointments. Even the vocal experiments on Industry Standard have some Morse brilliance in them. Wish they put out some more stuff. I love everything they made (even 80s stuff - Discipline, Beat, TOAPP).</div><div><br></div><div>VdGG is coming close, but I haven't heard much of them, so it will have to wait.</div><div><br></div><div>Also, my apparent dislike for 80s and forward Rush doesn't stop me from saying that they haven't done a bad album. Some are not really excellent, but nothing disappointing.</div>]]>

My metal side says In Flames can do no wrong.
