Actually they are very different bands when it comes to compositions and philosophy of writing music. LTE is definitely more versatile. Basically a dream team of prog for me... So with all my respect for Planet X I must vote for LTE.

Yeah OSI is an awesome band but I wanted this poll to have a consistent theme by pitting two instrumental prog metal bands against each other. Exactly the way I feel. Three Planet X songs in a row are great, but once that fourth one creeps in things go downhill fast.

I'll have to go with Liquid Tension Experiment, their melodies are better (that's debatable) in my opinion.  Although both are great. Approve
