I"d never heard of Gazpacho before joining this forum. Re-listened to Night earlier and was, once again, very impressed. It's a good track from a good debut album (Bravo), and showed massive promise which I think has been more than fulfilled.

... And I now have a signed Night CD (smug look).

It was a bit sad that I must have been the youngest person there though....

Missa Atropas is one of the better prog cds that I have heard in the last few years, sort of an H era Marillion mixed with Hello Computer era Radiohead. Tick TOck is good, but no where near as good as Missa Atropas, to my ears. Bravo and Firebird are also quite good and Night is the only progressive rock album the Mrs. likes, maybe more so than Yanni. LOL

I've heard Night, Tick Tock, March of Ghosts, and some of their songs from their earlier albums I think they're all fantastic. I love Night and Tick Tock, have both the live albums (both are definitely enjoyable although I think London just a bit more so). March of Ghosts is next on my purchase list. I regard Night & Missa Atropas as being amongst the finest modern prog releases from anywhere in the world.

Although there is a clear, and understandable, modern Marillion influence (which attracted me in the first place), they use that influence in a clever and sophisticated manner in order to create something utterly unique.

Great band.
