Yes, I've seen this on the menu in Indonesia and Thailand as well. Some countries use cat, others use rats! (I think Vietnam does this, if I'm not mistaken...) and other wildlife... It's supposed to be delicious, but I'm not sure I could brave it...

When I'm in the US, I prefer American-style coffee. In the US, it serves a functional purpose to wake me up and keep me going. When I was living in France, though, it was a way of life, a culture, so for me, double expressos at a cafe, at least once a day. But I couldn't recreate the experience in the US, so I gave up on expressos. (I'll vote for expressos, because the European way of life is generally how I think life - at least, my life - should be. :-)

I miss European cafes; I've spent one summer in Bulgaria and Turkey, and a couple of summers in Vietnam as well, and I miss hanging out in Vietnamese cafes and their special way of making coffee.

But living in China the last five years till recently, I made the switch to tea - usually green tea, but black as well from time to time. The health benefits just can't be denied...

In the morning for getting awake with some milk.

Regular brew with a lot of powdered creamer.  No other sweeteners other than what the powdered creamer contains.  I love watching the corn syrup solids and other unpronounceables floating on top of that lovely nuclear liquid and slowly melt away in my cup.  If I'm at work, I pour it over ice.

Great, now I want iced coffee and I'm supposed to be cutting down on caffeine.  Confused

Coffee with the name you can feel fresh. My morning is started with the Cup of Coffee. When ever I feel tired it makes me fresh and relax. I like hard coffee in evening, it reduces my stress of whole day.

Instant stuff like Nescafe is okay if there's no other thing around.

When we were 17 or 18, we were in the first year of university, and I hated coffee.

But all my friends liked to go to a bohemian coffee shop called Café Haiti, and asked for coffee, so started to drink cappuccinos, but with a lot of sugar and cream..

Now I drink my espresso with sugar (because Peruvian coffee is extremely strong), bu can't add milk or anything.

Yes, it's a huge distance between Santiago and Lima.And it's even longer by car, about 3,500 Kms by car.

And true our frontier is far in the south of Perú and far in the north of Chile.

I once went driving from Lima to Santiago (Then to Buenos Aires) and I wanted to leave the car in Chile and take a plane, 3,500 Kms. of desert is very long and boring trip on car, not even  my Prog cassettes and my old KP-500 helped.
