For the first time ever in history Pendragon finally play Quebec City Canada!

We are vey proud to announce that Pendragon play their first ever show in Canada on October 19th 2013

at the Imperial De Quebec.

For many years there have been so many false starts and broken promises about playing Canada,

and now it's going to happen for real!

So many other bands have told us it's a great place to play so we're really excited about this.

Progrockers Yes- Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Alan White, Geoff Downes & Jon Davison � bring their 2013 festival to the Susquehanna Bank Center on August 3rd.

The progressive rock legends will play Yes favorites and two classic Yes albums in their entirety including Close to the Edge and The Yes Album.

Also on the bill: the greatest Genesis tribute band ever � The Musical Box, (performing the classic Genesis album, Foxtrot), Carl Palmer�s Band and Rennaissance with Annie Haslam. There will also be a rare appearance by Roger Dean, the Yes album cover artist presenting �The Art of Roger Dean.� Tickets go on sale Friday, May 24th at 10AM. I'd much rather see Musical Box again than this version of Yes!! At least the keyboardist in MB can play Tony Banks' music note-for-note, vs. Geoff Downes' awful Yes keyboard messiness!

Summers End Festival Announces "Ravens and Lullabies" with Gordon Giltrap and Oliver Wakeman

The Summers End Festival, which takes place on October 4-6th at Lydney Town Hall, are thrilled to announce a very special event on the Saturday Evening of the Festival.

"Ravens and Lullabies" will be an unique electric performance by Gordon Giltrap (electric and acoustic guitars) and Oliver Wakeman (keyboards). Joining them in this exclusive one-off event will be two old friends of the festival, Paul Manzi (Arena, Oliver Wakeman Band - vocals) and Johanne James (Threshold - drums) plus a bassist to be named.

Gordon will be best known to Prog fans for his trio of rock albums in the late 70s, and for his hit single "Heartsong" while Oliver's eclectic career has involved several solo albums, two albums with Clive Nolan, tours with The Strawbs and Bob Catley and an eventful three and a half years in Yes.

Although the two of them have been touring extensively as a duo, this will be Gordon's first full electric performance for over 30 years, while Oliver will be playing his first major concert with a full band since his departure from Yes in 2011. The set will revolve around a performance of their superb album "Ravens and Lullabies" released earlier this year on Esoteric Antenna, which mixes intimate acoustic performances with full-blown Prog, but will also contain some pieces from both men's back catalogue.

Festival co-promoter Stephen Lambe says:
"This is a huge coup for the festival and it's thrilling that we have been able to persuade Gordon and Oliver to bring the "Ravens and Lullabies" band together and play this amazing and unique concert just for us. As previously announced Believe, one of the best progressive rock bands in Poland, will appear at the prestigious festival in USA - ROSfest. The event scheduled for this weekend, May, 3rd � 5th 2013, will host live performances from some of the World�s finest progressive rock bands including Riverside, Pain Of Salvation, The Flower Kings, Jolly or Shadow Gallery. The band formed in 2004 by guitarist Mirek Gil, should be known already by fans of Polish prog-rock legend Collage and Satellite. Not only was Mirek a founding member and main song writer of Collage, but he played with Satellite as well. The band�s debut album �Hope to See Another Day� was released in 2006, six years later Believe return with their second live DVD entitled �Seeing is Believing�. What a great show it was!

Hackett was amazing, as were Anglagard and Three Friends. Crimson Project was a bit too loud for me (and I wasn't the only one), but still good.

I was also really impressed with Galahad (though they looked like they were suffering from the outdoor heat) and Luz de Riada--bands I had never heard. Unfortunately missed the last day.

I'll post a couple excellent pics as soon as I can get them off my phone.

My ticket for the Stockholm show was 90 Euros two years ago. It was worth it. Not for the music maybe but for the theatrics. It was spectacular.

Great you could go, I didn't make up my mind. I only wish Steve Hackett would go to Mexico City at least... I haven't seen him schedule a concert there, but he's on a world tour, he should make Mexico City a place to stop by. I've also had the fantasy that Anglagard may go play at the Cervantino. Highly unlikely, of course.

As soon as SW & Opeth were confirmed as headliners, I had to go. The line-up was already impressive IMO , but having those two made it a must.

Managed to get tickets and find some accomodation fairly locally ( not easy as many places full up )

Had some "airmiles" so the flights from UK are not too pricey.

Looks like a beautiful setting for the festival .

Really excited even though still three months away
