I missed the vinyl when it first appeared, so I'm pretty excited for this re-issue. Excellent album, it's a miracle

I'll definitely get this one.
 
"The Wall" show (saw it here in Portland, OR, was nice and my review is posted on this board. However, I felt the differences were what I ended up looking at, instead of the whole thing. Still grand in every aspect, but when I think back to my memories, the original was better, but the next generation would not have known that ... so seeing this was actually very nice. But I missed the quadraphonic design a lot more than I thought I would.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

My only sadness is that there are no demo's, outtakes & the sort.
When I first heard this album in '92, I flipped on it!
I just revised it again last night & it still gives my "goosebumps!".
I own a ton of prog albums & I can honestly say that this album ranks in my Top 10 of ALL time!

I sort of remember a good while ago to have read something about Jeff Beck doing some shows spanning his whole career... and I believe he even invited Roger to play with him something from Amused to Death (the "What God Wants" songs, or something of the sort).
