I'm not an expert on this band so I thought I would create a poll to see what are considered to be their best albums. Please only vote if you know at least six of their albums. I've allowed multiple votes for this poll but please don't vote for more than three. Also, this is just for studio albums.

I only have four glass hammer albums. So many vocalists. I'd like to see a glass hammer fan rate their albums from worst to first.

I voted before I read the directions. Oh well, here are my two cent's worth: I only have two of their albums, Shadowlands and If, so I am no expert either. Of the two, I much prefer Shadowlands.

Normally I might complain about that but since so few people have been voting I won't make a big deal about it. Thanks for your honesty though.

You may as well vote for your favorite of those since progosopher voted. But that's it. After you everyone else has to play by the rules.

I love them! The Inconsolable Secret is my favorite. I prefer the albums with a real drummer though I don't think they've made a bad album.

Never got the thrill of it, always thought this is just another band that emulates 70s Yes.

The Inconsolable Secret
If Perilous I have everything apart from some of the earlier albums. There aren't many albums I don't like , most sitting around 3-4 stars in my estimation. I do like the latest Dreaming City and that was close to being one of my chosen 3. Lex Rex, Chronometree and Shadowlands are the albums that got me into then but it was not until The Inconsolable Secret that they had a full time drummer in Matt Mendians although he only lasted until Culture Of Ascent before eventually Aaron Raulston took over the drum stool and has been there ever since. Valkyrie is also well worth checking out. |

If (great album - only complaint is that it gets too close to Yes at times)

I didn't realize they were so prolific. I only have three of those albums; Shadowlands, Lex Rex and Inconsolable Secret.
Of those, I guess my first choice would Inconsolable Secret. I'll need to re-listen, but I wasn't inspired, at the time to buy more of their stuff. |

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
