WR. I've yet to hear a Renaissance track I didn't find incredibly boring.

A hard one. Birdland is one of the great fusion standards, but in general WR don't do it for me like the other fusion greats do. Renaissance might pull past. But Jaco...

Supporting Renaissance here. They have a great symphonic style, and some excellent compositions.

While I love Renaissance, I will have to go with Weather Report today.

In this poll Renaissance. IMO, there's no way Renaissance should be beating Strawbs in the other poll.

I mildly enjoy both groups, but Renaissance slightly more.

This isn't comparing apples and oranges. This is apples and eggplant.
Renaissance.

Curveball of a poll, here! I love WR and Jaco/Josef/AJ (etc.), but each band excels at what they do to staggering degrees. I'm inclined to vote for WR but these two bands couldn't be more dissimilar. I'll sit this one out. |
