If memory serves me correct , most of the people who've posted actually like or have stood up in the past to defend Neo. SO the point of this thread is really just to have fun at the expense of people who can't understand other musical tastes that do not jive with theirs. THerefore , to trick them, the "accent aigue". Because the umlaut would just add to the anti-neo crowd by drawing the anti-metal bunch. Although I still think the scandinavian thingys would also smell great

I thought Debrewguy was really going to make a stand for neo but it appears just a matter of how to spell the word !!!???
Probably this is typical for the poor genre. Most are just making fun of it anyway. I happen to love neo though this only goes for the best in the department like Clepsydra, Collage, Satellite, Pendragon, Jadis, Iluvatar and Arena. Also lesser known as Skeem, Millenium and Knight Area.
Anyone who cares to comment in this vein ?

I say spell it Sin-fornico and see if we can't attract some unsuspecting non-prog fans

Did you every come to think of the French users on this forum, who of course don't find anything original in adding the "é" to Néo... I would even say, for French people, Neo looks cooler than Néo.
Still, I like all this delirium. You can use symphonique for example with the que, so you can say du prog symphonique. I like Prögressiv (without the e) Metâäl.

It would definitely help if you could surrepticiously slip another name in there as well, like Toulouse-Lautrec , for example . Then we could go on to something like Symphonic Johann Sebastian Prog..........but really, it pales compared with Neo - Toulouse - Lauterc - Progressive , with or without the accent. [ I mean I definitely would have put it in but my keyboard discriminates against accents - can you believe it !~ n`eo is the best I can do and it's bloody pathetic !! ] ^^^^

If you're really considering all this stuff, then PA administration should start by distributing new 298 keys keyboards to all members

Prögressive-METAL
We also have to create some inverted "Ts" for extreme metal so they look like upside-down crosses... also, if we cann add effects to the letters so that they look like they're dripping blood...
And we can write experimental-post metal always in itallics to give an idea of the grayish genre....
And of course, for avant-garde metal bands, we all know what we have to add to make them more intellectual-looking......
FRENCH!!!
