The Mantle is harldy even BM... but yeah, it's something that will split listeners.

I tried listening to The Mantle but I can't stand black metal vocals. Death growls are OK, but I HATE those screeching whispers.

I love Agalloch! I've heard 2 of their 3 studio albums (plan on getting Pale Folklore together with their new album) I'm not gonna bother listening to any new tracks until I finally get Marrow of the Spirit

Talking about Agalloch, Ashes Against The Grain is certainly in my top 25 albums, that's my top 1% !

Listening to Ashes Against The Grain for the first time, fairly certain Agalloch are shaping up to be one of my favourite bands ever.

^^ Great albums all the way,a new genre on the sight - forest progressive metal ? or Woodcore  .. well maybe, why not.. there already are all kinds of metal subgenres out there like Unblack metal, Porngrind and things like that ..
