I like the album a lot, but I don't LOVE it.  And I'm certainly not IN LOVE with it.  The album and I have never had intimate relations.  OK?

A good chunk of it is excellent.  Several spots are a little lyrically awkward (no doubt due to English as a second language).  Overall it seems a bit fragmented - side one especially sounds like a bunch of separate recordings by different bands.

I know that I'm being overly critical of what is quite a cool album, and one I am more than proud to own.  But overall, after months of hand-wringing and sleepless nights, I vote "No".

nothing ''average'' about this band even if the music is not to your taste Thanks Richard
Theoretically yes, well, this is Symphonic, but comparing with greatest Prog Giants, I must to admit Aphrodite´s Child aren´t in their level at all.
just your personnal point of view Gandalf and in this case not quiet objective

I'd be interested in knowing why he thought it was blasphemous. I haven't bothered yet to check out the lyrics so...but i idid feel that maybe they weren't taking the subject matter too seriously which some would consider irreverent. I don't have a problem with that but some would i guess.

I think that Vangelis was mostly portraying in the lyrics a literal description of events from Revelations, with a few irreverent compositional elements thrown into the record.  Perhaps the album title scares people away, but I don't really see that the content of the music was blasphemous to religion or spirituality in any real sense.  The song "Aegian Sea" is quite spiritual in a very positive way, to my ears.  Also, the vocals by Irene Papas on "Infinity" do not specifically say anything that could be construed as blasphemy.  I think it is just the unusual repetitive vocal sound that scares some people away from the track, not as a result of the actual content of the lyrics.

Then replace the word "lyrics" with "concept," since it was his idea in the first place.
