Bat Out Of Hell is my wake-up ringtone. I listen to it EVERY MORNING...
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

RIPCryCryCryCry: the first (and only) Bat Out Of Hell was a monument in my teen life: a veritable soundtrack.
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

I've seen him in an old interview yesterday evening...

He has reached Jim Steinman, may they have fun making good music wherever they are.

RIP Ronnie Spector. She was 78

So many great hits! Lovely. She of course had a tumultuous relationship with Phil Spector but fortunately found happiness later in life. She will be missed!

^ Sad news indeed. He was great songwriter and bit of tongue and cheek in some of lyrics. Budgie is a huge influence on so many musicians. Legend!

I will spin some Budgie today.

RIP Burke and thanks.

An absolute legend with a fantastic filmography.
His influence can be seen in the likes of Denzel Washington and Chadwick Boseman's performances.
