	I've gotten a lot of my friends into prog. I got one of my friends (who loves KISS and AC/DC) into prog by lending him KISS's Music from the Elder. After that I lent him Over-Nite Sensation by Frank Zappa, and he loved it. Maybe you could show your friend what good modern stuff there is with The Mars Volta or Mr. Bungle.
