Out of these, NIN, by far.
Why is Coldplay getting so many votes. They are and OK band in my opinion.

My vote goes to NIN.
Life seemed to him merely like a gallery of how to be.

Voted for A Perfect Circle. I know that they are Tool-lite but still good
accessible metal when you want something that does not take too much to
listen to.

COLDPLAY!!!!!!

Mind you- it was a tough choice between Queens of the Stone Age and A Perfect Circle too...but I adore Coldplay and I always have so there you go.

On my God....I can't believe System of a Down is getting the most votes!!...What is wrong with you people????!

When I first voted in this poll I ignored A Perfect Circle was even there! I regret the choice I've made in the past. I still like Coldplay, though. Yeah, so what? Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) listens to them too, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me.

I don't understand how soad has so many votes either.

My vote went to APC of course. Serj is nothin' compared to Maynard imo.

My views on some of these artists/bands:

System Of A Down: I voted for them. I really do hope they take a full approach at prog in the future. Talented people.

Audioslave: Good band... not as great as RATM and Soundgarden though. But, are any of those artists prog? I don't quite think so... with the exception of Tom Morello, who is a prog guitarist by all means.

    Tenacious D: Funny? kinda. Prog?

    Coldplay:

A Perfect Circle: A little proggy, too poppy. Not nearly as a good as Tool.

Beck: Crazy dude, I've gotta give him my props for being creative, but prog is not the first word that comes to my mind when thinking of him. Still, I might be wrong about this one.
