In memroy of a very influentual bass player, rock pinoeer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist, passed away today.

I love Cream, and hes bass sound is huge part of that, one of the true infulences on the world of rock bassplaying, many rock, prog and metal bassplayers are in deapt to him.

Cry

Man I loved this guy. His strange vocals and acrobatic bass ways were a huge part of my teen years. I still pull out my Cream records from time to time.
Thank you for the music JackHeart

It will a long time before I play anything by Jack or Cream as he was part of my youth the same way John Lennon was. RIP Jack. Broken Heart

well..  that about sums it up.

Jack inspired me musically in his life.. and in checking on the news of his passing...  he leaves us with this via a related story on the Huffington Post.

God bless you  Jack.. for the music... and  the fantasies hahaha

I literally just read an article about a band named Hi Fiction Science in Prog magazine, and they referred to being proud of being on the Esoteric label, the same label as Jack Bruce.  Then I came on here and read this.  Damn.  RIP Jack Bruce.

And he was dad's age, so that makes me afraid that my dad may not have long to go.  Though Jack probably still smoked and drank through the end, while my dad has much healthier habits.
