List ten great acoustic prog songs. No synths and no amps! (It's not easy but it can be done. If you get stuck, throw in some Greg Lake songs!)

I hope you don't mind that in Elevator, Ralph Towner plays solo at the Hammond B -3. This is actually the only time he played this instrument. But his acoustic guitar solo what comes after the Hammond B-3 solo, that's magnificent.

Anything by Pentangle, with a particular mention for their epic "Jack Orion" - probably Bert Jansch's finest hour with the band.

From The Beginning has synths as well
The Sage is a great choice though , why didn't I think of that. However - Take A Pebble no synths!

^You're one up on me Richard. I thought it had some electric guitar but what the hell, it's close enough!

I e always found that the title-track of Return To Forever's - The Romatic Warrior, an absolutely amazing example of Acoustic Jazz-Prog, if ever there was one.
Maybe not Prog, but Canada's Bruce Cockburn has created some fantastic acoustic pieces that could be considered Prog methinks....... |
