OK "Song", not "instrumental"
Song: About a dozen by Jethro Tull...Reason's For Waiting, Look Into The Sun, Sossity, For Michael Collins, Wonderin' Again, Solitaire, O Requiem, One White Duck, Salamander, Jack In The Green, Moths, One Brown Mouse, Dun Ringill, Under Wraps, Rocks On The Road.........that's more than a dozen and there are a few I have left out. Instrumental: Hasn't ANYONE heard Chambertin by Bert Jansch? It is unfreakingbelievable. The greatest of all. LISTEN TO IT! Here below |

This. Both Ian Anderson and Bert Jansch on all counts. Throw in the entire Stormcock album from Roy Harper as well. |

Nice, but if you want to bring solo guitar music into play you've got to end it here cuz there are too many flamenco, classical, folk, jazz, and unorthodox style (e.g. Khaki King, Michael Hedges, Robert Johnson, Ry Kooder, etc.) players to name that make this stuff seem almost rudimentary. Heck, Chet Atkins and Andrés Segovia alone leave most everyone else in piles of dust and ash behind them whenever they play(ed)! |

Oh, I agree, but I was following a more prog and folk vein. Otherwise, I'd throw in the stellar Friday Night in San Francisco. Al, Paco and John -- talk about acoustic pyrotechnics! |

One that I listen to often is the duo version of "I Talk to the Wind"
The Eyes of the Forest - Mostly Autumn Pigs on the Wing - Pink Floyd (lol) That's all I could think of that wasn't already mentioned!

^On that note, I must post this. I was hesitant at first for the presence of Moog and some bass, but I've always seen this as relatively acoustic for Led Zeppelin.
