any song about Cat Food automatically should win any PA's poll, one thing Raff and I have found is prog has the highest proportion of cat lovers to any musical genre.
second of all... any song that features playing that STILL today gets the instrumentalist stopped in airports and asked about it is an automatic win. 3 plus minutes of immortality for Keith Tipplet and well desserved.
now the better poll.
Cat Food vs. Aladdon Sane. Both amazing and outrageous.

As much as I love just about every Crimson tune and Cat Food is one of their more unique songs, still this time I'll go with GG, Memories Of Old Days simply gets deeper.

Absolutely not the same to me, both have jazz fusion elements KC even more so in comparison to both these tracks, only similarity might be the vocal approach of pampara papapara..., instrumentally I cannot hear a distinctive similarity. Anyway a hug to you  BarryGlibb xxx

The influence of Come Together is unmistakable, but I wouldn't call this song terrible. In fact, I love the song from the moment when Lake shuts up (usually I like his vocals, but not here). Talking about KC and Come Together, what to think of Ladies of the Road? A brilliant Beatles pastiche, I would say, with a similar baseline - in 9/8.
