that cookie monster growl man... I just can't take it seriously.  I suppose I should keep trying, but its been the most obtuse track on the whole album for me.

But can we talk about how Aristillus sounds like it could be the intro theme to a pbs cartoon??

Black Stone's vocals, to me, sound like a demented old man giving prophecy deep in a dark, damp cave.

Yeah, the growl is a bit... stilted, for lack of a better word.  But overall I think the atmospheric musical backing of the song redeems it.

As for Aristillus, I think I agree with you.  My opinion of the entirety of side 1 of that album is not all that high anyway, however.
